Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is Canada’s national housing agency. The CMHC Solutions Lab program is intended to support multidisciplinary, holistic, committed project teams that will develop roadmaps to implement innovative solutions to address identified housing problems within the National Housing Strategy (NHS) priority theme areas and populations. Solutions Labs provide funding and expert solution lab consultants to help solve complex housing problems using innovative methods and tools.

Founded 25 years ago, MCHB is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Edmonton's newcomer families across 23 cultural and language communities. Our cultural brokers come from immigrant communities themselves, bringing firsthand understanding of the barriers newcomers face — uniquely positioning us to bridge the gap between newcomer families and Canadian society.
From peri-natal health and youth initiatives to seniors outreach and intercultural competency training, MCHB supports the full journey of immigrant and refugee integration. We take a holistic, prevention-focused approach that respects each family's individual strengths and circumstances, while also working at the systems level to advance culturally-responsive practice and policy across government and community organizations.
